Steve Kean has said he is expecting smiles at today's board meeting.
Blackburn overcame their recent poor form to take a 4-2 victory over Swansea City on Saturday.
The three points have lifted the Lancashire club off the bottom of the Premier League table.
"To go in on the back of a win is always nice for everyone," Kean said. "It is nice for the board members, the owners and myself.
"The content of the meeting would have been the same - how we strengthen. But there will be smiles over the coffee now rather than frowns."
Rovers are now 18th in the Premier League and one point from safety.
