Blackpool are reportedly surprised by claims that manager Paul Ince has had an offer of resignation rejected.

Blackpool have reportedly been left feeling surprised by reports that manager Paul Ince has offered his resignation.

It had been claimed this morning that the Championship outfit had rejected Ince's offer following four months in charge at Bloomfield Road.

Despite the reports, the Seasiders have refused to comment and are said to be surprised by the speculation surrounding Ince, according to BBC Sport.

The club also uploaded a photo on Twitter of Ince taking a training session in a pre-season camp in Portugal.
