Ian Holloway wary of Birmingham City crowd

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is preparing his players for a passionate atmosphere at St Andrews.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is expecting a difficult game at Birmingham City on Wednesday evening and thinks that the Blues' home support could play a big part in the result.

With a Wembley playoff final meeting with West Ham United as the prize, the Tangerines take a narrow lead to St Andrews following their 1-0 win at Bloomfield Road on Friday evening.

"It's going to take every ounce of everything we've got going down there with their crowd and their passion," said Holloway.

"I needed a lead, we've got a very slender lead. We won the first game and I think that's a marker to them. We didn't beat them this year.

"I'm looking forward to it, I can't be worried. I'd be worried if we were not in this situation. I feel my team deserved it on Friday night."

Blackpool are unbeaten in their last eight matches.
