Report: Paul Ince holding talks over future

Blackpool boss Paul Ince will reportedly hold talks with chairman Karl Oyston over his future in the coming days.

Blackpool manager Paul Ince will reportedly hold talks with club chairman Karl Oyston over his future in the coming days.

Ince's side started the season well and established themselves as playoff contenders before a torrid run of form saw them slip down the table.

The Tangerines lost 2-0 to bottom club Barnsley on Saturday, leaving themselves 14th in the standings following a run of five straight defeats in all competitions and 10 without a win.

According to Sky Sports News, that result has prompted Oyston to question the future of Ince, less than a year after hiring him to replace Michael Appleton.

Ince joined Blackpool after almost two years out of football following his departure from Notts County in 2011, but he has won just 12 of his 42 matches in charge of the club.

The 46-year-old has also had to deal with continued speculation over the future of his son Thomas, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club during the January transfer window.
