Dougie Freedman has played down an incident at the end of last night's defeat to Huddersfield Town where he confronted a supporter in the stands at the Reebok.
Wanderers have won just once at home since April and slumped to a 1-0 defeat last night despite a recent upturn in form which has seen them climb away from the drop zone.
Freedman admitted to responding to an aggrieved fan in the stands but said that the incident was nothing.
"Some guy was shouting we need to play two strikers up front, I said 'we played four up front at the end', I couldn't quite work it out," Sky Sports News quotes the Scot as saying.
"It did make me smile a little bit, I couldn't quite get my head around it."
Wanderers have another chance to impress the Reebok support when Doncaster Rovers visit on Saturday.
