Brazil's Neymar: 'World Cup dream is not over yet'

Neymar has backed Brazil to complete his World Cup dream by winning the tournament without him as the 22-year-old was ruled out of the competition with a back injury.

Neymar has insisted that his dream is not over despite being ruled out of the World Cup as he has backed his teammates to win the tournament without him.

The 22-year-old sustained a fractured vertebra in Brazil's 2-1 win over Colombia after being challenged by Juan Camilo Zuniga.

He will now miss the rest of the tournament, but is confident that the host nation can win still win the competition.

"They took from me the dream of playing a World Cup final, but the dream of winning the World Cup is not over yet," Neymar told the Brazilian FA's official website. "There are two games left and I am sure that my teammates will do everything to lift this trophy."

Neymar scored four goals in his five games at the World Cup.
