Brentford will be without a trio of players for up to seven matches, starting from Boxing Day due to the upcoming Africa Cup Of Nations tournament.

Brentford are set to lose three players during the upcoming Africa Cup Of Nations.

The tournament begins in January, but squads will be joining up from Boxing Day, and depending on how far teams progress, Thomas Frank could be without the trio for seven matches.

Despite some question marks over whether or not the competition would go ahead due to COVID-19, things are still set to take place, meaning the Bees will have to adjust.

All three players will be representing different nations, with Julian Jeanvier playing for Guinea, Frank Onyeka with Nigeria and Tariqe Fosu being in Ghana's squad.

Depending on how far their respective teams progress, they could miss two Premier League games with Manchester City and an FA Cup tie with Port Vale.

Brentford will also play Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the squad currently 12th in the table, and only two points away from the top half.
