Craig Mackail-Smith scores a brace as Brighton take home all three points from Turf Moor.

Brighton secured a vital away win at Turf Moor as Craig Mackail-Smith grabbed a brace.

The Scotland international was the subject of a transfer bid from Norwich City earlier this week, but put speculation to one side to help The Seagulls grab all three points.

Mackail-Smith opened the scoring from the edge of the area on 18 minutes, and made it a brace with the winner 15 minutes from time with an acrobatic finish.

A Gordon Greer own goal broke up the Mackail-Smith double as Burnley threatened to take a point early in the second half.

Greer redeemed himself with a goal in the 88th minute as Brighton held out to get their second Championship victory of the season and move them to seven points after four league games.
