Brighton & Hove Albion captain Gordon Greer has signed a new two-year contract with the Seagulls.
The 32-year-old, who has made 114 league appearances for the club since July 2010, is now tied down until June 2015.
Brighton boss Oscar Garcia claims that securing Greer's services long-term was one of his main priorities this summer.
"One of my targets when I arrived here was to keep Gordon here because he is the captain and he's a leader," he told the club's official website.
"For me, he is very important this season."
Glasgow-born Greer has been named in the last two Scotland squads, but he is yet to make his senior international debut.
