Reports claim that Sean Dyche will become the new manager of Burnley after he is seen watching them take on Cardiff City.

Sean Dyche has been installed as the favourite to be named the new manager of Burnley after he was spotted watching the Clarets take on Cardiff City this afternoon.

Championship side Burnley have been without a manager since Eddie Howe opted to return to Bournemouth earlier this month.

Several managers have been linked with the vacancy, including Mick McCarthy and Paul Ince.

However, Dyche's presence at the Cardiff City Stadium has lead to speculation that he will be appointed on Monday morning.

Dyche has been out of work since being sacked by Watford in the summer.
