Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed that winning the Champions League in his first year since returning the club would be a "dream come true".

Barcelona face Chelsea in the semi-final of the competition tomorrow in a repeat of the controversial 2009 semi that eventually saw the Spanish giants reach the final.

Fabregas, who remembers celebrating Andres Iniesta's late winner in that match, is keen to repeat that side's success, as well as continuing their La Liga title challenge.

"The move has been much better than I expected. I played much more than I expected. I came here to learn, to get better as a player and a person, and also to experience weeks like we start tomorrow," said the former Arsenal man.

"We have Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League and then play against Real Madrid in a game which, if we win, we are back in the title race; then against Chelsea again.

"Hopefully we will win all the games and to win the Champions League in my first year at Barcelona would be a dream come true."

Barca are looking to win their fourth Champions League crown since 2006, in the process becoming the first side to retain the trophy since its change of format in 1992.
