John Terry remains absent for Chelsea

Chelsea defender John Terry is ruled out of his side's Premier League encounter with Bournemouth as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.

Chelsea defender John Terry has been ruled out of his team's match with Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Blues skipper suffered an ankle injury during the Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv last week, which resulted in the centre-back missing the London derby with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

It had been hoped that the 34-year-old would be available to face the Cherries, but manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he will remain sidelined.

Mourinho has also said that Ramires and Radamel Falcao will be missing from the 18-man squad.
