Chelsea star Alvaro Morata returns to training ahead of Roma clash

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata reportedly returns to training ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash against Roma.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly returned to training ahead of Wednesday evening's Champions League clash against Roma.

The Spain international has been on the sidelines since suffering a hamstring injury during the Blues' 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on September 30.

Manager Antonio Conte is yet to confirm whether Morata will be fit enough to start against Roma at Stamford Bridge, but the 24-year-old returned to training at Cobham on Tuesday morning, according to The Mirror.

The forward has been in positive form, scoring seven goals in eight outings in all competitions since joining the Blues from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are unbeaten in the Champions League so far, having secured back-to-back wins in Group C.
