Chelsea have reportedly increased their efforts to appoint Napoli's Maurizio Sarri as the club's next head coach.
After a poor Premier League campaign and alleged disagreements over the club's transfer policy, Antonio Conte's future remains up in the air and potential replacements continue to be reported in the media.
Carlo Ancelotti, Luis Enrique and Thomas Tuchel have all been linked but according to The Mirror, Chelsea hold a strong interest in Sarri.
Sarri has put together a team capable of challenging Juventus for the Serie A title, with the Partenopei currently four points adrift of their rivals with seven matches remaining.
However, it is uncertain whether the Italian will remain in his current position with a £7m release clause currently active in his contract and Sarri unwilling to make any decisions over his future until the end of the campaign.
Sarri has won 94 of his 141 matches in charge of Napoli.
