Chelsea to hold emergency press conference amid doubts over Jose Mourinho future?

Rumours on social media claim that Chelsea will hold an emergency press conference at 5pm today amid concerns over Jose Mourinho's future.

Chelsea are rumoured to be planning to hold an emergency press conference at 5pm today amid doubts over Jose Mourinho's future as manager.

This afternoon, the Blues suffered a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool - their sixth defeat in the Premier League this season.

Prior to the match, there were reports that Mourinho would be axed if his side lost to the Reds, and now, rumours have emerged on Twitter claiming that the English champions will hold an emergency press conference later today.

Mourinho refused to discuss the performance during his obligatory media duties following the defeat.

The press conference has not been confirmed by the club.
