Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has admitted that he wants to earn a managerial role in England after turning down the option of remaining with Royal Antwerp.
The former Chelsea striker was offered a new deal with the Belgian side, but after rejecting their offer the Dutchman has revealed that he wants a return to English football.
The 42-year-old told BBC Sport: "I was offered a new contract but I have not taken it. At this moment, I am looking for opportunities.
"I am open-minded but the perfect scenario would be a job in England. I still live in England, my wife is English and my kids go to school here so that would be the best and easiest option."
Hasselbaink has previously worked on the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest.
