Micah Richards is expected to be sidelined for Manchester City's Premier League battle against Chelsea on Monday.
The 23-year-old was forced to miss out on Man City's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich due to a calf injury, and it seems that the right-back has failed to recover, according to The Mirror.
Stefan Savic replaced the England international for Roberto Mancini in midweek, but Pablo Zabaleta is expected to take the reins.
The North West side travel to Stamford Bridge to play the former title winners on Monday evening.
