Chelsea reportedly have no intention of selling midfielder N'Golo Kante for less than £80m.
After the World Cup winner endured an injury-hit 2019-20 campaign, it has been suggested that Frank Lampard may be prepared to cash in on the France international.
That speculation comes at a time when Chelsea are expected to make more big-money moves in the transfer market, which could include the acquisition of another central midfielder.
However, according to The Mirror, club officials have placed an £80m price tag on the 29-year-old ahead of the new season.
Inter Milan, managed by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, are said to hold a strong interest in Kante, who may be open to a fresh challenge at this stage of his career.
Nevertheless, the Serie A runners-up must decide whether they are prepared to commit to an extravagant financial outlay on a player who was restricted to 27 appearances last season.
