Chelsea 'told to pay £34.5m for Alex Telles'

Porto reportedly indicate to Chelsea that they want £34.5m for defender Alex Telles, who may leave the Portuguese giants this summer.

Chelsea have reportedly been told that it will take a bid of £34.5m to sign Porto defender Alex Telles.

While the left-back is regarded as one of the club's key men, Porto are aware that they will have to cash in on the player should he not extend his contract past 2021.

According to A Bola, that is currently the case with the Brazil international unwilling to pen fresh terms with the Portuguese giants.

However, the report suggests that Porto will push to receive close to the 27-year-old's release clause, said to be in the region of £34.5m.

With Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri having uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge, the Blues have identified Telles as a potential replacement.

Since 2016, the attacking full-back has scored 18 goals from 151 appearances in all competitions.
