Luka Jovic: 'I could benefit from Premier League, Serie A move'

Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic says that he may benefit from a transfer to the Premier League or Serie A, rather than linking up with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic has suggested that he favours a summer transfer to the Premier League or Serie A.

Jovic netted 27 goals from 46 outings in the Bundesliga and the Europa League this season, and it has been widely reported that the Serbian is on the brink of signing for Real Madrid.

However, the 21-year-old has said that he could benefit from moving to England or Italy, claiming that the style of football could suit his attributes.

Jovic told Die Welt: "From my experience in the Europa League, I would say that some other leagues in Europe are more suited to me and my way of playing football.

"In terms of the physique, the Bundesliga is very demanding, but after the games against Chelsea or Inter Milan, I personally had the feeling that I could feel even better [playing] in the Premier League or Serie A. The way the teams play there suits me better."

Chelsea could potentially move for Jovic, providing that they successfully overturn a two-window transfer ban.
