Juventus are reportedly poised to beat Chelsea to the signature of Dynamo Kiev youngster Ilya Zabarnyi.
Despite only turning 18 last year, the centre-back was an integral player for Ukraine at the Euro 2020, playing every minute in his country's five matches as Andriy Shevchenko's side were blown away by England in the quarter-finals.
Zabarnyi has unsurprisingly been linked with moves to top European clubs after his breakthrough year, and Chelsea have been tipped to submit an offer in excess of £10m for the Dynamo Kiev starlet.
However, Italian outlet TuttoMercato claims that Thomas Tuchel is instead focusing on other options for his rearguard, which could allow Juventus to swoop in.
The Old Lady will supposedly table a lower fee of £4.7m plus add-ons for the teenager, which could yet be enough to tempt Dynamo Kiev into a sale.
Zabarnyi was promoted to Dynamo Kiev's first team last year and made 36 appearances across all tournaments during the 2020-21 campaign, chalking up one goal and one assist in the Ukrainian top flight.
