Salomon Kalou has said that he wants to stay at Chelsea amidst rumours that he may be on his way out of the club.
The Ivorian's current deal expires at the end of the season but he believes that he has a future at Stamford Bridge.
"I want to stay, I want to be here," he said after he scored in his side's 5-0 Champions League win against Genk. "I like Chelsea - I have had a fantastic five seasons here and won some prizes.
"Chelsea are looking forward to the future, I am still a young player and I think my future can be here."
The 26-year-old moved to the Premier League side from Dutch club Feyenoord in May 2006.
