Liverpool reportedly intend to make a move for Porto attacker Luis Diaz in the January transfer window.
The Colombia international is thought to be on the radar of some of Europe's leading clubs having amassed 11 goals and two assists in 18 appearances across all tournaments this term.
Chelsea and Newcastle United have both been credited with an interest in Diaz, but Liverpool are reportedly aiming to steal a march on their Premier League rivals in the race for the 24-year-old.
According to Record, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring Diaz to Anfield as he works around the absences of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah during the Africa Cup of Nations.
The report adds that Klopp has been impressed with Diaz's performances against his side in the Champions League, although the attacker's deal with Porto does not expire until 2024.
Diaz has struck 36 goals and assisted 15 more in 115 appearances for Porto since making the move from Junior FC in 2019.
