Chelsea will offer Didier Drobga a coaching role at the club to tempt the Ivorian to return to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to a report.

Chelsea will attempt to lure Didier Drogba back by offering him a role as a player-coach, according to a report.

The Ivory Coast international left the Blues following their Champions League win in 2012 after eight years at Stamford Bridge.

However, manager Jose Mourinho wants the 35-year-old back at the club as he looks to rebuild his side and feels that offering Drogba a role as a player-coach will be enough to entice him away from Galatasaray, reports The Mirror.

Drogba scored six goals in 17 appearances last season for the Turkish side.
