Mohamed Salah demands pay rise to join Fiorentina?

Chelsea's Mohamed Salah will reportedly reject the chance to make a return to Fiorentina on loan, unless they first match his wage demands.

Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah will not join Fiorentina unless they increase his proposed wages, according to a report.

The 23-year-old has been tipped with a move to a number of clubs during the off-season, but the Viola - a side he spent time on loan at last season - are thought to be the frontrunners.

However, talkSPORT claims that the Egypt international, who scored nine goals during his short-term stay in Florence, is reluctant to make a return to the Serie A outfit without them first offering £40,000 a week.

Fiorentina are said to be ready to hand over £1m to Chelsea for an initial season-long loan, but the final decision will ultimately come down to Salah.
