Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta plays down suggestions that he could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta has played down suggestions that he could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The 26-year-old joined Chelsea from Torino in last summer's transfer window, and made 38 appearances in all competitions for the Blues during the 2017-18 campaign.

Inter Milan have been strongly linked with a move for the Italy international in recent days, but Zappacosta has insisted that he is currently "only thinking of Chelsea".

"I just want to have a great season, regardless of where I play. Inter? The interest is pleasing but I don't know anything about it and I'm only thinking of Chelsea," Zappacosta told Sky Sport Italia.

Zappacosta, who appeared in 22 of Chelsea's 38 Premier League matches last season, has a contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2021.
