Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze reportedly set to return from injury in November, having previously been ruled out until 2022.

Crystal Palace have reportedly received a boost with creative midfielder Eberechi Eze set to return from injury within the next month.

The 23-year-old, who was sidelined in the final week of last season, was predicted to miss out until the beginning of 2022, but is said to have progressed quicker than expected.

Having started training alone during the international break, the Evening Standard now reports that the Englishman could join the first-team squad next week and is set to return before the next break in November.

In his debut season in the top flight after a move from Queens Park Rangers, Eze netted four goals and provided six assists in 34 league appearances for the Eagles before suffering an Achilles injury in May.

Such a return would follow the summer acquisitions of Reading midfielder Michael Olise and Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard, with new manager Patrick Vieira keen to add to his attacking ranks.
