Crystal Palace midfielder Barry Bannan has admitted that he is growing frustrated over failing to secure regular starting berths for the Eagles.
The Scotland international has completed 90 minutes on just two occasions this term and has found first-team opportunities limited under manager Tony Pulis.
Although the former Aston Villa ace admits to being unhappy over his bit-part role at Selhurst Park, the 24-year-old believes that his continued hard work will ultimately result in chances to impress.
He told The Sun: "Obviously I am not happy about not playing, but I've just got to keep working hard and hopefully my chance will come again.
"I appreciate the fans backing and, of course, no one is going to be happy when they are not playing."
Bannan started today's fourth-round FA Cup clash with Wigan Athletic.
