Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has made an offer to Sochaux for striker Cedric Bakambu, according to a report.
The Mirror claims that the 22-year-old is available for around £3m, although Newcastle United are interested in the Frenchman as well.
Pulis is also said to be keen on former Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko, who is currently a free agent and is reportedly in London to discuss a short-term deal with the Eagles.
Bakambu and Sissoko are just two of a number of players reported to be on Palace's radar, with Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Richard Stearman and Brighton & Hove Albion winger Will Buckley also linked with moves to Selhurst Park this month.
Palace are currently two points and two places above the Premier League relegation zone.
