Frank de Boer has reportedly emerged as a surprise managerial target for Deportivo La Coruna.
Earlier this month, De Boer was removed from his head-coach position at Crystal Palace after just five games, with the Eagles suffering four defeats in the Premier League without scoring a goal.
De Boer has now lasted just 19 matches in his most recent two positions but according to The Sun, that has not stopped the Dutchman attracting interest from Spain.
It has been claimed that the La Liga strugglers are ready to call time on Pepe Mel's spell at the club, with just four points having been registered from half-a-dozen fixtures this season.
Former West Bromwich Albion boss Mel only arrived at the Riazor in February, but just five victories have been recorded in 21 games in all competitions.
De Boer has previous experience of Spanish football, with four-and-a-half years of his playing career having being spent at Barcelona.
