Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew: 'Sunderland will give everything to beat us'

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew says that Sunderland will pose a threat when they arrive at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has claimed that he is wary of Sunderland's threat under manager Sam Allardyce.

The Black Cats have only claimed one victory in four Premier League games since Allardyce took over, and they are currently second from bottom in the table.

Despite their poor run this season, Pardew believes that the North-East team will pose a danger when they arrive at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

"I never fancy my chances against a Sam Allardyce team because of his knowledge," Pardew told reporters. "They'll give everything they've got to get the victory."

Palace are eighth in the table after 12 games.
