Team News: Connor Wickham leads Crystal Palace attack against Sunderland

Connor Wickham starts against his former club as Crystal Palace welcome struggling Sunderland to Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace have named Connor Wickham in the starting lineup for their Premier League meeting with Sunderland this evening.

The 22-year-old spent four seasons with the Black Cats before joining Alan Pardew's side in the summer, and is tasked with leading the line against his old team.

He will be joined in the attack by Yannick Bolasie, Wilfried Zaha and Jason Puncheon, as the Eagles look for a win that will move them up to sixth in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Jermain Defoe and Steven Fletcher will provide the danger up front for the visitors, who are able to welcome back Lee Cattermole and John O'Shea from injury.
