Crawley Town sign Crystal Palace duo

Crawley Town sign Crystal Palace youngsters Hiram Boateng and Sullay Kaikai on initial 28-day loan deals.

Crawley Town have signed Crystal Palace youngsters Hiram Boateng and Sullay Kaikai on initial 28-day loan deals.

The duo, both 18 years old, will officially join the League One club when the loan window re-opens on Saturday.

Reds boss John Gregory told BBC Sport: "Palace have a fantastic reputation for producing young talent - Hiram is excellent on the ball and strong in the tackle and Sullay is a very lively presence up front.

"I'm sure they are going to prove to be very good additions to our squad as we approach a very busy time of the season."

Boateng has made two senior appearances for the Eagles, while Kaikai is still awaiting his senior debut for the Premier League outfit.
