Crystal Palace eye Scott Dann swoop

Crystal Palace are preparing a bid for Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Dann.

Crystal Palace are said to be lining up a £2.5m bid for Blackburn Rovers centre-back Scott Dann.

The 26-year-old joined Rovers from Birmingham City in the summer of 2011, but could not help them beat the drop from the Premier League that season.

He has since been linked with moves away from Ewood Park, with Everton and Fulham being named as potential suitors, but reports suggest that they were put off by his £6m price tag.

However, according to The Mirror, the Championship side may be open for business in the transfer window, which has attracted the attention of Palace boss Tony Pulis.

Rovers are reported to be keen on slashing their debt, with Dann being one of the club's highest earners on £30,000 per week.
