Phil Jagielka's first international goal has seen England go in 1-1 at half-time with Italy in tonight's friendly in Berne, Switzerland.
The Italians made the breakthrough against the run of play after 15 minutes as Daniele De Rossi beat Michael Carrick to the ball to head in from a corner.
They almost doubled their lead minutes later, but Mattia Destro's header was saved by Jack Butland.
Adam Johnson's low drive was then saved before Jagielka scored his first goal for England when he stooped to head in from Frank Lampard's corner.
Roy Hodgson's men could have gone in ahead at the break, but Lampard's powerful shot from distance was palmed away.
