Ian Wright tips England to make fans "sweat"

Former England forward Ian Wright thinks that Roy Hodgson's men will qualify for the World Cup in Brazil, but doesn't expect them to do so in a convincing manner.

Former England forward Ian Wright has said that he expects Roy Hodgson's men to make the nation "sweat" before booking their place at the World Cup in Brazil.

The Three Lions followed up Friday's night's Group H-opening 5-0 win in Moldova by being held to a 1-1 draw by Ukraine at Wembley last night.

"We are still favourites to go through from our group but then we were favourites to win at Wembley last night," Wright told The Sun.

"It would not be England if we did not make it difficult for ourselves. And it looks like we're going to have to sweat again."

Wright was capped 33 times by England at senior international level, scoring nine goals.
