Everton defender Seamus Coleman suffers minor tissue injury

Everton reveal that Seamus Coleman suffered a "minor tissue injury" in Monday night's Premier League match at West Brom.

Everton have revealed that right-back Seamus Coleman is suffering from a "minor tissue injury".

The Irishman was forced off in the 79th minute of Monday night's draw at West Bromwich Albion but his injury doesn't appear too serious as Everton today said that the 25-year-old had already begun his recovery from the problem.

They did not reveal whether he would be fit for this weekend's FA Cup fourth-round tie at Stevenage or Tuesday's highly-anticipated Merseyside derby at Liverpoool.

Coleman has been in scintillating form for the Toffees this season, starting all 22 of their Premier League games and scoring five goals.
