Everton will be looking to set a new winning record against Leicester City when the two sides meet at the King Power Stadium on Monday.

Everton will attempt to win three consecutive away league games against Leicester City for the first time when the two sides meet at the King Power Stadium on Monday.

The Toffees are one of six teams that have never been relegated from the Premier League, but they are in a battle to preserve their top-flight status this season.

With five matches left to play, the Merseyside club are sitting in the relegation zone with two points separating them from safety.

After Nottingham Forest were beaten 2-1 by Brentford on Saturday, Everton know that they will move out of the bottom three if they beat Leicester.

Having failed to win any of their last six matches, confidence may be at a premium ahead in the Everton dressing room ahead of Monday's meeting.

However, Everton have fared well in their last two away games against the Foxes, winning 2-0 in 2020-21 and 2-1 last season.

They now have the opportunity to win three consecutive away meetings with Leicester for the first time in their league history.

Everton have struggled on their travels this season though, winning just one of their 16 away games in the Premier League.

Since beating Southampton in October, the Toffees have drawn five and lost seven of their last 12 top-flight away matches.

The Toffees have received a boost ahead of Monday's encounter, with Seamus Coleman set to return after missing the club's last three matches through injury.
