Two sides level on 14 points will face off when Rosenborg and Odd go head-to-head in Sunday's Eliteserien clash at Lerkendal Stadion.
Rosenborg have won just one of their last eight league matches, while Odd have mustered one win in their previous nine top-flight games.
Match preview
Rosenborg are currently sitting in 10th position after winning four, drawing two and losing six of their 12 league matches.
They claimed the most recent of those victories in last month's home meeting with Kristiansund, before they went on to draw 1-1 against Fredrikstad in their final outing before a four-week break.
Alfred Johansson's side returned to action with a disappointing outing in last weekend's away meeting with Viking, as goals from Edvard Tagseth and Ole Saeter proved mere consolations in a 4-2 defeat.
That result represented their third loss in four away league games so Rosenborg will be pleased to return to the home comforts of Lerkendal Stadion, where they have collected 10 of their 14 points this season.
They can certainly take confidence from the fact that they have won five of their last seven matches against Odd (D2), including a narrow 3-2 win in the most recent meeting in July last year.
While Odd may have won just one of their last nine matches, a flurry of draws has helped them put together a four-game unbeaten run.
They played out a goalless affair with KFUM and beat Lillestrom 2-1, before they drew 1-1 with both Stromsgodset and Kristiansund.
Kenneth Dokken's charges are sitting behind Rosenborg on goal difference with just one point separating them from the bottom three.
Odd will have to improve at both ends of the pitch if they are to move away from the drop zone, as they are currently the league's second-lowest scorers and share the joint second-worst defensive record with Sandefjord.
They have also failed to win any of their last four away matches, and if they are to end that poor run of results, they will have to beat Rosenborg for the first time since August 2020.
Team News
Rosenborg will have to assess defender Jonathan Augustinsson and midfielder Tomas Nemcik due to their respective injury issues.
Ole Selnaes will serve a one-match suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards, which could open the door for Tobias Borkeeiet to make his first league start of the season.
Forward Noah Holm is likely to retain his place after he came into the side against Viking to make his first start since returning from injury.
As for the visitors, they are unable to call upon the services of Zakaria Mugeese, while there are also doubts over the availability of Torgeir Borven and Leon Hien.
After recently returning from injury, Steffen Hagen is likely to retain his place in central defence alongside Tony Miettinen.
Ingebrigtsen will continue to operate in the front three, where he could be joined by Bilal Njie and Ole Midtskogen.
Rosenborg possible starting lineup:
Tangvik; Cornic, Henriksen, Jenssen, Reitan; Tagseth, Borkeeiet, Vaananen; Broholm, Reitan-Sunde, Holm
Odd possible starting lineup:
Hansen; Ruud, Hagen, Miettinen, Baccay; Jorgensen, Hussain, Svendsen; Ingebrigtsen, Njie, Midtskogen
We say: Rosenborg 1-1 Odd
With the two sides level on 14 points, we think that Sunday's fixture will produce a close-fought contest, which could result in the spoils being shared, especially as Odd have drawn three of their previous four matches.
