Cissokho's preferred destination for a summer move is the Premier League, according to his agent.

The agent of Lyon defender Aly Cissokho has revealed that his client would prefer a move to the Premier League if he is to leave the French club this summer.

Everton have reportedly been interested in Cissokho this summer and Lyon's coach Remi Garde in July announced that he was on the transfer list.

Now the player's agent has put England and Italy as his client's preferred destinations.

"The preference would be to depart," Mamadou Cissokho told France Football. "Aly wishes to discover a new challenge. If he has to stay he will and will do his job, but if there is an opportunity he will seize it.

"The priority is England or Italy. However, there have been no concrete offers as yet, even though Lyon are keen to sell."

Cissokho has made 91 league appearances for Lyon since signing in 2009.
