Evian TG 2-3 Bordeaux

Yoan Gouffran, Ludovic Obraniak and Henri Saivet all find the back of the net as Bordeaux get off to a winning start in Ligue 1.

Bordeaux have begun the Ligue 1 season with an entertaining win over Evian TG at Parc des Sports.

Francis Gillot's men were two goals ahead within 14th minutes, courtesy of powerful strikes by Yoan Gouffran and Ludovic Obraniak.

Daniel Wass reduced the deficit moments later with a superb free-kick, but Henri Saivet headed home from an Obraniak corner to reflect the visitors' dominance six minutes into the second half.

Bordeaux would have gone clear at the top of the table had they have maintained their two-goal advantage, however they were denied that pleasure by Saber Khelifa in the 94th minute.
