Leroy Fer has insisted that he would give strong consideration to a transfer to Everton.
The Toffees were close to signing the FC Twente midfielder during the January transfer window, but the deal fell through because of concerns over his medical results.
However, the 23-year-old has revealed that he does not hold a grudge against the Merseysiders, who have kept in contact with him over recent months.
"Everton has done nothing wrong," he told Volkskrant. "During the second half of the season, they have always kept in touch with my agent. I'm still always open for a transfer to Everton."
Fer has made two appearances for the Netherlands at senior international level.
