Tottenham Hotspur striker Louis Saha backs France to overcome England on Monday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur and France striker Louis Saha has backed his nation to overcome England in their Euro 2012 opener on Monday.

The 33-year-old has spent much of his career in England, and believes that Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck could hold the key for Roy Hodgson's side.

"I fancy France but Danny Welbeck is the type of player who can hurt us big time. Can't wait," Saha tweeted.

Saha is expected to leave Spurs at the end of June.
