Martin Jol: 'I'm content with league position'

Fulham manager Martin Jol insists that he is content with the club's current league position.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has admitted that he is hoping his side can quickly achieve the victories they need to secure Premier League safety.

The Cottagers are currently in 12th place in the Premier League and while Jol has insisted that he had hoped to be higher up the table, he acknowledges that Fulham could be further down the league standings too.

Jol told reporters: "The line between failure and success is unbelievably thin and we could have had more points, but we could have had less as well.

"Hopefully we will pick up a few wins as soon as possible to get out of our current situation."

Fulham host Manchester United at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening.
