How Germany could line up against Estonia

Sports Mole looks at how Germany could line up in Tuesday's Euro 2020 qualifier with Estonia.

Germany will be looking to continue their 100% record in Group C when they welcome Estonia on Tuesday night for their third Euro 2020 qualification fixture.

Joachim Low's side have beaten Netherlands and Belarus to put six points on the board, although they are not currently top of the section, with Northern Ireland winning each of their three qualifiers thus far.

Estonia, meanwhile, have lost twice to Northern Ireland to sit fourth on zero points, only ahead of bottom-placed Belarus on goal difference.

Germany will be confident of securing another three points ahead of their next qualifier, which is at home to the Netherlands towards the start of September.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Die Mannschaft could line up for this match.

POSS GER XI vs. EST

There will certainly be a temptation for Low to make wholesale changes for a match which should be relatively straightforward for the home team.

That said, the Germany boss, who will again be absent from the touchline due to a gym-related injury, will be keen for his first-team players to have another 90 minutes in the new 3-4-3 formation.

Timo Werner for Serge Gnabry is an alteration which could happen in the final third, though, while Thilo Kehrer is expected to come into the right-sided wing-back position after being left out against Belarus.

Jonathan Tah started at centre-back last time out due to Antonio Rudiger's absence - that is again expected to be the case for this match with Matthias Ginter and Niklas Sule also featuring at the back.

Julian Draxler, Julian Brandt and Leon Goretzka all came off the bench against Belarus, which is another indication of the forward options that Germany can call upon if required.
