Germany announce provisional squad for World Cup

Arsenal trio Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski all make Germany's 30-man provisional squad for the World Cup in Brazil next month.

Germany head coach Joachim Low has announced the 30-man provisional squad that he will take to the World Cup in Brazil next month.

Bayern Munich's Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer all make the list, but Max Kruse, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Mario Gomez miss out.

Arsenal trio Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski also make the squad.

Brazil announced their 23-man squad on Wednesday.
