Ten-man Getafe draw at Celta Vigo

Getafe's winless streak reaches 11 games as they throw away a 1-0 lead to draw at Celta Vigo after going down to 10 men.

Getafe's winless run continued on Saturday as they threw away a 1-0 lead to draw at Celta Vigo in La Liga.

Angel Lafita's first goal since September fired Getafe ahead on 21 minutes, before Luis Garcia Plaza's side were reduced to 10 men early in the second half when Lisandro Lopez picked up his second yellow card of the night.

That moment changed the game and put Vigo in the ascendancy. It took the hosts just six minutes to make their numerical advantage count, as Rafinha equalised just before the hour mark.

Despite a sustained period of late pressure, Vigo were unable to find a winning goal.

However, they remain unbeaten in five league matches, while Getafe are now without a win in 11 games in all competitions.
