Huddersfield Town have signed Middlesbrough's Mustapha Carayol on a season-long loan.
Carayol has been unable to secure opportunities since recovering from a serious knee injury which kept him out for most of last season, but he was handed a new two-year contract in April.
The Terriers have won the battle to secure the 26-year-old's services and Chris Powell is excited about what the winger will bring to his squad.
"Mustapha is a player who has always been a threat when my team has opposed him due his natural ability, his raw pace and trickery. I'm sure he will excite our fans and cause problems for other teams," Powell told the club's website.
"I think it's vital in the Championship that you have as much pace as possible in your team – particularly away from home."
As part of the deal, both teams will have the option to cut the loan short in January.
