New one-year Inter Milan deal for Rodrigo Palacio

Rodrigo Palacio puts pen to paper on a new one-year contract extension with Inter Milan.

Rodrigo Palacio has signed a new one-year contract extension with Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

The 33-year-old has only made six league starts this term, but Inter have opted to offer him a new deal that runs until summer 2017.

"To continue to fight with this shirt is something unique, so I'm very happy and can not wait to take the field for the great challenges that this season offers us," Palacio told the club website.

Palacio has scored 54 Inter goals in all competitions since joining the Nerazzurri from Genoa in 2012.
