Massimiliano Allegri says that he is "sure" that he will remain Juventus head coach next season.

Massimiliano Allegri has said that he is "sure" that he will remain Juventus head coach next season.

Allegri has led Juve to an eighth straight Serie A title, but the club fell at the quarter-final stage of the Champions League - suffering a 3-2 aggregate loss to Ajax.

The future of the Old Lady's head coach has been the subject of much speculation in recent months.

However, the Italian has confirmed that he wants to remain in Turin ahead of imminent meetings with Juve president Andrea Agnelli.

"You have to enjoy these celebrations," Allegri told Sky Sport. "I'm sure that I will stay on the Juventus bench. I have another year on my contract, but we still haven't sat down with the president.

"It's not a question of contracts, it's about deciding the programme for the future, evaluating this year and what we need to improve in this team. In these five games we have left, I will run some experiments. I want to see the quality of the players in some positions."

Juve will face Inter Milan, Torino, Roma, Atalanta BC and Sampdoria in their final five matches of the campaign.
